Punched teeth show some significant advantages over milled teeth. This way durability and toughness are much higher and the surfaces of the processed workpieces is smoother and homogeneous.

The tool material will be formed and compressed not removed. Depending on the later usage the teeth can be bigger in size for fast removal of large portions of material or smaller in size for smoother surfaces. Higher abrasive factors are usually applied for products like files, file blocks, file discs, etc. Lower abrasive characteristics are applied for products that have holding or clamping use.
We can provide punched teeth in different grades.

Beside the standard shapes and sizes (files, file discs, …) we can also apply customized shapes with punched teeth.
We can create your specific solution.
File Discs can be used with our file machine FM200:
File Machine FM200 – the machine for use of file discs and milling discs:

The file machine in long-lasting and sturdy industry quality – for professional use.
File discs are being used for machinized filing and deburring of metal, cast iron, wood and plastics.
Because of the slow rpm the risk of sparks and therefore catching fire is strongly reduced. Also the run is smooth and low of vibrations.
The teeth are being punched into the tool body, compressing the material. Therefore the cutting geometry is much stronger than conventional milled geometries.
